I am one of the luckiest men know! I am married to a wonderful women, Debbie (of Deb Bot fame) who indulges my hobbies and has given me two beautiful sons. Matthew (Matts, Bammer) is 3 years old and Jason is 4 months old. Our little family lives in Oak park, CA which is about 45 minutes from Los Angeles.

By profession I am a painting contractor. We specialize in large custom homes but also do commercial and industrial buildings. My main hobby for the last 10 years has been racing RC Fast Electric Boats. I have traveled all over the country to different races and made many great friends.

 My introduction to robots came during the Super Bowl in 1999. We got the "pay per view" of the Long Beach event and at the moment the first fight ended I knew I would compete in it someday. Once Comedy Central started showing Battlebots I became obsessed. I looked at every web page on the Battlebots.com and started to design and build my two bots, "Deb Bot" and "Matts Bammer." I started 3 months before BB 3.0 and I finished the light weight the morning on the competition - like half the other guys there.

Anyway the rest is history and you can find out about our results in other parts of this site. I want to thank my beautiful wife Debbie for standing beside me in most anything I've wanted to do and for giving me two beautiful sons.
